Yesterday, my prices increased. Here's why:
As mentioned in my bio, my art is born from intuition. I don't follow a rigid plan; instead, I trust my gut, allowing the creative impulse to guide me. Often, my process begins with a sense of chaos, which I then navigate to find order and balance within the artwork.
This intuitive painting practice feels deeply meditative, a form of mindfulness. Whether in complete silence or accompanied by music, I can paint for hours, losing all track of time. These artworks feel like gifts, channeled from a deeper source ā a connection many artists experience.
My artistic journey has unfolded over the past 30 years, intertwined with my spiritual awakening. This path has been challenging, marked by the weight of past experiences. From a joyful childhood to a period of profound brokenness and back towards wholeness, I've journeyed through depression, anxiety, and ultimately towards greater peace. My art serves as a visual record of this ongoing quest for balance.
The pieces I share online represent a curated selection. Many more raw and somber works remain private, along with writings that reflect darker periods. Creation has been a constant throughout this journey, though I've also destroyed a significant amount of work, driven by self-criticism. Interestingly, some of the pieces I now offer for sale exist only as single photographic prints of original artworks I once discarded.
Sharing my art publicly has always been a struggle. While I've made attempts, I've never fully committed until now. This year feels different. At 49, in 2025, I'm finally embracing my identity as an artist and daring to share these deeply personal pieces, even with the attachment I feel to each one.
My intention in every painting is to explore and discover insight, allowing my soul to connect. As spiritual beings navigating this human experience, we encounter a spectrum of emotions. I believe that all creation, stemming from a universal source, carries a unique energy. My art, therefore, is now priced in recognition of my personal evolution and the sacred energy it embodies, an energy I believe can offer a form of healing to both myself and those who view it.
